| Notes: | This cushion was produced for a Weavers Spinners & Dyers annual competition - I think that it was in 1999, when the brief was to produce a cushion. One side has felt squares, with abstract landscapes intended to show the four seasons, and bordered by an inkle braid in natural dyed yarns giving the name of the season woven in. For the other side I used up some childrens' handspun samples on a square sample loom (the loom is a 1 foot square of hardboard, and each warp turns at the centre diagonal and becomes a weft) |
